    I am a Realtor who recently completed BPO’s for mortgage companies and banks however I discontinued because once I complted the BPO I was never given the listing I’d drive by a couple weeks later to find the home listed with another Brokerage using my suggested price. Now I am ready to try again due to the soft RE market.

    There is money to be made here, perhaps lots of it, but only if the broker performing the BPO has been well-trained and certified to do the business. That’s because of regulations and because lenders require certification. Some vendors are ensuring that the training is win-win by providing successful course graduates with BPO leads and by rating agents that perform BPOs. One company that is doing it right is Equi-Trax, a company that just unveiled it’s training program.
